Amir Al-Ajooz

​Based in our Boston office, Amir Al-Ajooz is BioTalent’s US Managing Director, overseeing all operations across BioTalent and The IN Group in the United States. With over 15 years of recruitment experience, Amir has a proven track record in scaling talent businesses and driving growth. His expertise spans financial services, technology, and life sciences, with the last nine years dedicated to supporting the life sciences sector in Europe and the US.

Amir’s career highlights include scaling a life sciences recruitment company to an £80 million annual turnover and establishing a boutique recruitment firm in Switzerland. He has partnered with globally renowned biotech, CRO, and medtech organisations, managing geographically dispersed teams and delivering impactful talent solutions.

Amir joined BioTalent in December 2024, bringing his strategic mindset and passion for fostering high-performance teams. He is excited about the transformative role AI will play in reshaping the life sciences industry, from drug discovery to manufacturing automation.

Outside of work, Amir enjoys spending time with his family, following Newcastle United, and pursuing hobbies like golf and padel tennis. A lifelong learner, he’s an avid consumer of books, podcasts, and digital content. A fun fact? Amir has seven middle names—but don’t ask him to spell them all! His childhood dream? To be a professional footballer.
